Appeal after dog bites woman in park

A woman was bitten by a dog as she walked in a park in Leicester.
The attack was in Knighton Park at about 09:30 GMT on Saturday, said Leicestershire Police.
The dog was off its lead when it approached the woman near the children's playground and jumped at her, biting her fingers, knee and elbows.
The male owner left the scene with the dog, said the force, and was photographed by the victim as he left.

The force has issued an appeal for a man who it would like to identify.
The victim, aged 33, was treated by East Midlands Ambulance Service at the scene, said police.
The force added the dog was a "medium size" and "either a Staffordshire bull terrier or a Cane Corso" type breed.
