Thousands of people have lined the streets of Glastonbury to watch its annual carnival.

Around 50 carts took part in the historic procession through the town on Saturday night.

The carnival is the last of the year for the Somerset circuit, coming just eight days after Weston Carnival.

As part of the carnival, a group of DJ's celebrated the 376 bus route between Glastonbury and Bristol by performing on one of its buses.

The open feature class was won by Ramblers Carnival Club’s 'Pinball', with Gremlins taking a second place with 'Beatlemania', and Renegades coming in third with 'The Manor'.

The Glastonbury local feature class was won by Masqueraders.

In the overall county carnival results across the seven towns, Gremlins have taken the top spot, with Ramblers coming in second, and Masqueraders taking a third
