Shindig Festival to mark final year at Dillington
A festival in Somerset has announced it will be moving to a different location after this year's event.
Shindig Festival will be held at the Dillington Estate in Ilminster for the third year in a row in May.
But organisers said the landowner's future plans involve "more farming than festivals".
The new location has not yet been confirmed but will remain local, they added.
Festival co-founder, Will Lardner, said: "Let's leave Dillington with a bang. And dance till the cows come home (literally)."
The music festival, which developed from a record label, used to be held in Bruton before moving to Ilminster.
Held from 23 to 26 May, Shindig will be celebrating its 10th birthday in 2024.
The line up will include Groove Armada, the Brand New Heavies and Sandra Cross.
Mr Lardner said: "Our 10th birthday is going to be extra special.
"Expect great music from people we admire and adore."
Previous headliners include Estelle, Stanton Warriors, Sister Sledge and De La Soul.
In 2023, Emily Eavis recommended it to people who missed out on Glastonbury tickets.
The event does not have main stages and is known for its themed dancefloors and art installations.
