Bike frames: Images from the 10th Etape Loch Ness

The 10th Etape Loch Ness took place on Sunday.

More than 5,600 cyclists from 24 countries signed up for the 66-mile (106 km) ride, which starts and finishes in Inverness.

The fastest male cyclist was Daniel Sutherland, of Ross-shire Roads Cycling Club, in a time of two hours, 45 minutes and 26 seconds.

Natalie Munro, of Moray Gravel RT, was the quickest woman with a time of 2:58:5.

The Etape Loch Ness course includes the King of the Mountain competition, battled on an ascent just after Fort Augustus and 34 miles (55km) into the route.

It consists of a 4.8 mile (7.72 km) climb to the top of the Glendoe summit.

The fastest male and female for this section are crowned King and Queen of the Mountain.

Taking the titles this year were Andy Cunningham and Charlotte Dewdney in times of 19:36 and 25:33.
