New bus route to tie in with schools return
A new bus route is launching in Nottinghamshire.
Passengers will be able to board a new Centrebus service in Bingham from Monday.
The Upper Saxondale to Robert Miles School service will run during school term times, following discussions with Nottinghamshire County Council.
The 667 route will start in Upper Saxondale and operate via Balmoral Road, Wychwood Road/Copeland Road, Bowland Road shops, Carnarvon Place, on to Bingham Market Place.
Centrebus services in the Newark and Grantham areas will also change from Monday.
With support from the county council, the 24 service between the two towns will be extended to serve Newark Northgate Railway Station and Brunel Drive, with journeys diverted through the town’s Fernwood Estate and parts of Balderton.
As a result, the 6 service from Grantham to Bottesford will be revised to accommodate the changes to the 24.
