Road block stops ravers reaching unlicensed event

Police officers closed a road to stop more ravers reaching a late-night party.
Northamptonshire Police said it was called to Deenethorpe Airfield, near Corby, at about 00:35 GMT on Sunday after reports of a disturbance from an unlicensed music event.
Several hundred people were already on the site when officers arrived at about 01:00 and it was deemed unsafe to try and remove people.
A force spokesperson said: "With the resources available to us at that point it was not possible to safely remove people during the hours of darkness, and we took measures to close the site off to anyone else arriving."
Police have remained at the scene and have appealed for more information.
