Surf competition called off over 'dangerous' winds
A surfing competition has been postponed for the second time because of poor weather, organisers have announced.
Surfing England said it was "very sad" to call off the Korev English Interclub Surfing Championships on Saturday and Sunday at Porthtowan, Cornwall.
"Unfortunately for a second time, the surf forecast has not gone in our favour" due to "dangerously high gusting winds", a spokesperson said.
They added, Surfing England was in the process of looking to reorganise the event for later in October.
