Two people have been arrested after a man was reportedly pushed off his mobility scooter.

Police are appealing for information following a report of assault in Eastgate Street, Gloucester, at around 19:20 GMT on 22 January.

The two people - a 52-year-old man and a 48-year-old woman - were arrested but have since been bailed.

Gloucestershire Police said it was believed an argument had taken place between the three before the man and woman had walked away.

The force added that the man on the mobility scooter had reportedly followed the pair and was calling police when he was pushed from his vehicle.

The force has urged anyone who witnessed the moments leading up to the incident, or the incident itself to get in touch.
