'Kind, warm and loving man' dies after hit-and-run

A 74-year-old pedestrian who died after being hit by a car in Castleford has been described by his family as "a kind, warm and loving man".
Brian McClure died on Tuesday after being hit by a car on Barnsdale Road at about 14:45 GMT.
The car was travelling away from Castleford towards Allerton Bywater and failed to stop at the scene, West Yorkshire Police said.
A man in his 30s has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and driving while over the prescribed limit and released on bail pending further inquiries.
Mr McClure's family said in a statement: "Brian was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather.
"A kind, warm and loving man, he will be hugely missed by all. A life cruelly cut short."
Police are continuing to investigate and would like to hear from anyone who saw the incident or the car around that time, as well as anyone with dashcam or CCTV footage.
