An overturned car has caused long delays on part of the A38 in Devon.

National Highways said one eastbound lane of the road was closed between the junctions of the A385 at Marley Head and A384 at Buckfastleigh.

Devon and Cornwall Police said the crash happened at about 15:10 BST.

Officers said the driver of an overturned car suffered an arm injury to his arm and will be treated in hospital.

National Highways warned motorists of delays of 40 minutes or longer.
