Teenager in hospital after being hit by car

A teenage girl has been taken to hospital after being hit by a car in Leeds.

The incident happened on Holt Park Road in the Adel area just after 08:00 BST on Monday.

The girl suffered injuries which were not thought to be life-threatening, West Yorkshire Police said.

A road closure was put in place at the location but has since been lifted.
