A woman aged 33 has been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm after a man was attacked in a pub in Leominster.

The man, who is in his 60s, was in a critical condition after the attack on Tuesday night at the Dukes Head pub on Corn Square.

Detectives from West Mercia Police are investigating the circumstances of the incident which happened at about 23:00 BST.

Det Sgt Shelley Aplin said: "We would encourage anyone who was in the Duke's Head yesterday and who can support with our inquiries to come forward."
