Cyclist unconscious after scrambler bike incident
A cyclist fell and lost consciousness when a group riding scrambler bikes came round a corner on the wrong side of the road, police said.
The cyclist, in his 60s, lost control when a quadbike and several scrambler-style bikes rounded a corner towards him, Warwickshire Police said.
The incident happened at about 15:00 GMT on 30 March on Station Road in Whitacre Heath, Coleshill.
The bikers, who wore dark clothing and had their faces covered by balaclavas and helmets, allegedly did not stop and left the scene, the force added.
A passing motorist stopped to provide first aid and contact emergency services.
The cyclist, who had been wearing a helmet, was taken to hospital for treatment to a head injury.
Police asked anybody with information or dashcam footage to contact them.
