Woman, 27, dies after two-car crash

A woman has died after a crash at Belton in North Lincolnshire, police said.

Officers were called at 18:00 GMT on Saturday to the A161 High Street after an incident involving two cars - a silver Seat Leon and an orange Kia Sportage.

A 27-year-old woman, who was driving the Seat, was pronounced dead at the scene. Her passenger and the driver and passengers of the Kia were taken to hospital with minor injuries.

Police have made an appeal for witnesses and dashcam footage to help with their investigation.
