How your MSP voted on the assisted dying bill

Proposals to legalise assisted dying in Scotland have passed the first stage of parliamentary scrutiny at Holyrood.
The bill, tabled by Liberal Democrat MSP Liam McArthur, would allow terminally-ill, mentally competent adults to seek medical help to end their lives.
A vote on the proposed legislation's general principles passed by 70 votes to 56, but it will need to clear two more phases of parliamentary scrutiny before it can become law.
Politicians were free to vote according to their conscience on the Assisted Dying for Terminally Ill Adults (Scotland) Bill, rather than along party lines.
This is how each MSP voted.
