Yarn bombers open library of toppers
Josh Gorrono-Chapman/BBCYarn bombers have opened a "toppers" library to showcase hundreds of woollen creations.
Members of a group from Brough, East Yorkshire, have been knitting and crocheting for about 18 months.
Their collection, housed in a garden shed, includes knitted Red Arrows, an unknown soldier for Remembrance Day, and cuddly teeth to promote good dental hygiene.
The group will lend to anyone in return for a donation to one of the charities they support.
Alison Davis founded Brough Yarn Bombers last year, after a topper she made to celebrate Pride was stolen from a post box, causing outrage in the town.
She said she hoped the library would help to "spread a lot of joy".
Some of the works have travelled as far afield as Wales.
The group welcomes new members to monthly meetings at the Ferry Inn, with details on their Facebook page.
