Burglary arrest after man found 'hiding in freezer'

A man has been arrested on suspicion of burglary after police found him "hiding in a freezer".
Officers went to a house in Melling, Sefton, on Merseyside, at about 11:30 BST on Thursday after reports it had been broken into.
The suspect was found in a chest freezer in an upstairs bedroom of the house on Andrew Avenue and a wrap of white powder was seized from his socks, Merseyside Police said.
The 61-year-old from Old Swan, Liverpool, was arrested on suspicion of two counts of burglary dwelling and he was also held on suspicion of carrying the controlled Class B drug, amphetamine.
