A picture of a man police want to talk to has been released after people were hurt by metal nuts that were fired from a van last month.

Officers said small objects were fired from the white van, which had at least two people inside, in Woodley and Earley, Berkshire, between 12:00 BST and 13:30 on 25 June.

Thames Valley Police said incidents happened on Crockhamwell Road, Woodlands Avenue, Beechwood Avenue and Wokingham Road.

A 19-year-old man from Surrey arrested earlier on suspicion of criminal damage, assault and actual bodily harm was released on conditional bail.

The BBC previously reported a similar incident happened in Reading in mid-June.

Det Sgt Johnathan Hare said the man officers want to speak to “may have vital information” and that they are taking the incidents “extremely seriously”.
