Man convicted of fatal one-punch attack

A man who left a building site and launched a fatal one-punch attack has been convicted of manslaughter.
Tony Marsden punched David Fox in the face in a street in Derby following an argument between the pair.
Marsden, of Lockett Drive in Ashbourne, Derbyshire, had left a site in Green Lane, where he was working, to deal a fatal blow to Mr Fox.
At Derby Crown Court on Thursday, the 55-year-old builder was found guilty after a trial.
The attack followed a dispute through a metal wire fence at about 12:30 BST on 3 July 2023.
CCTV footage then showed Marsden in Green Lane walking quickly towards Mr Fox, who had his hands in his pockets.
Mr Fox was punched once to his head and fell backwards, hitting his head on the floor and immediately losing consciousness.
Marsden walked away as Mr Fox lay on the ground but returned to the 57-year-old and rolled him on to his side when challenged by a member of the public.
Police found Marsden in his car in nearby Colyear Street where he had changed his clothing to an orange-hooded top.
Mr Fox was taken to the Royal Derby Hospital, where a scan showed a serious bleed on the brain.
He was transferred to the Queen's Medical Centre in Nottingham where he died 12 days later.
Marsden denied manslaughter but a jury convicted him at Derby Crown Court, where he will be sentenced on Friday 21 March.
