Polls open for general election across Yorkshire

Polling stations have opened across Yorkshire and the Humber for people to cast their vote in the general election.
Voting venues opened at 07:00 BST and will remain open until 22:00 BST.
Candidates are standing in 54 constituencies across Yorkshire and The Humber, with the first results expected in the early hours of Friday morning.
For the first time in a UK general election people are required to bring photo-ID with them to their polling station in order to vote.
A number of constituencies have seen boundary changes since the last general election in 2019.
That comes after a nationwide review which aims to ensure MPs represent a similar number of constituents.
