Two more men have been arrested on suspicion of murder over the death of a 21-year-old man who was fatally stabbed in Derby.

Dale Martin, known to family and friends as DJ, was pronounced dead in hospital after being attacked in Stenson Road at about 23:45 BST on Sunday.

Two 18-year-old men have now been arrested on suspicion of murder and a woman, 18, has been held on suspicion of assisting an offender.

Two other men, 18 and 24, have been arrested on suspicion of affray in connection with the investigation, Derbyshire Police said.

The force confirmed three other men, who were arrested on suspicion of murder earlier this week, remain in police custody.

A woman and three men, earlier arrested on suspicion of affray, remain on bail.

Det Ch Insp Claudia Musson said: "The investigation is ongoing and we still would like the local community to contact us with any relevant information that may assist our inquiries.

"We would like to appeal to anyone that may have seen a Renault Megane in the area of Stenson Road around the time of incident to contact us.

"No matter how insignificant you feel the information may be, it may be of use to the investigation."

A total of 12 people have been arrested as part of the investigation.

In a tribute, Mr Martin's family said they were "devastated" by his death.

The tribute added: "He was much loved by his mum, dad and sisters and will be greatly missed."

Police are continuing to investigate a linked incident outside The Oaklands pub in Oaklands Avenue, Littleover, at about 18:00 on Sunday.

Police were called to reports of men carrying knives, though nobody was injured in this incident.
