Major road reopens after serious collision

A major road has been reopened after a serious collision.

National Highways said at about 11:58 GMT the A45 in Northamptonshire was closed heading eastbound at the A509 junctions between Wilby and Wellingborough.

Emergency services including Northamptonshire Police were at the scene of the accident.

National Highways said the road was open again at about 16:00.
