Crash damage repairs to affect tram services

Tram users have been warned services in Nottingham will be affected by repair work following a crash last month.
Nottingham Express Transit (NET) said there would be no service in either direction between the Nottingham Station and Clifton South stops from about 21:00 BST on Wednesday to about 06:00 on Thursday.
The repairs are taking place following a crash involving a car and a tram, on Queen's Walk on 2 June, which knocked over a pole supporting a power line.
NET said a replacement bus service would run while the repairs are under way.

However, due to a road closure on Robin Hood Way, the buses would not service stops at Queens Walk, Meadows Embankment and Wilford Village.
NET said the Hucknall and Toton lane tram services would operate as normal during the work, with the additional tram services terminating at Beeston Centre.
A tram was derailed in the crash and police said the occupants of the car suffered minor injuries.
