A stretch of the London-bound carriageway on the M2 in Kent was closed following a crash involving five cars.

Police said it happened at about 07:30 BST on Tuesday, near junction 3, near Chatham and Rochester.

Traffic was held at the scene from 07:40 BST, with the road reopening at 08:25 BST.

Nobody was injured but traffic is reported to be queueing back to junction 4.
