'Magnificent' pub to reopen after five-year closure

Work is under way to reopen a much-loved community pub five years after it closed.
Bristol's The Greyhound on Lodge Causeway will welcome back its first customers on 17 April after it was taken over by the Dive Bars team.
The Bristol-based company, which also runs The Mothers' Ruin, said Fishponds has been "under-served with public houses in recent years".
Marc Griffiths, from Dive Bars, said: "The Greyhound itself is an absolutely magnificent building that deserves to be renovated into a pub."
"It hasn't had a lot of money spent on it in the last 50 years so we've given it a new lease of life," added Mr Griffiths.

A mural of a greyhound is also being created on the side of the pub by Bristolian artist Shaun Sepr.
It shows a startled dog on a race track with mice having a meal on its back.
"I wanted to paint something bold and recognisable that suited the place.
"Hopefully it'll work with the whole feel of the place and bring a little smile to the patrons on their way in and out," said Mr Sepr.
He added he was excited to see how it developed.
"Hopefully like any good pub it'll add something to the community and bring people together," he said.
