East Lindsey District Council will offer advice on how to reduce energy bills and stay warm

People in Louth will be able to access advice on how to stay warm this winter at a drop-in session.

The event, run by East Lindsey District Council on Wednesday, will give residents the chance to ask about grants and funding, how to reduce energy bills and mental health advice.

It will take place between 10:00 and 14:00 GMT at the Trinity Centre on Eastgate.

Councillor Graham Marsh, portfolio holder for community safety, leisure and culture, and carbon reduction, said: "With the temperatures falling at this time of year, I am delighted the council’s sustainable warmth team is hosting an event, allowing anyone to access the support they need."

Marsh added: "If you or a loved one are worried about the coming winter months, please consider taking advantage of the help and advice this event has to offer."

The event, which will be attended by groups including the Lincolnshire Good Home Alliance and Wellbeing Lincolnshire, will also showcase technology such as solar panels, heat pumps and insulation.
