Two stolen goats returned in 'Christmas miracle'

An animal attraction has described the return of two missing goats as a "Christmas miracle".

Four goats were taken from Kew Little Pigs in Amersham, Buckinghamshire, on Tuesday.

On Monday night a member of the public contacted the farm after spotting two of the missing animals, Blitzen and Rose, in a field in Farnham Royal, 15 minutes from where they went missing.

Thames Valley Police confirmed the goats had been returned and the investigation was ongoing.

The owner of the land told Kew Little Pigs he had bought the goats from a man in a van last week.

He helped return the goats to their home and gave a description of the man to the police.

Despite missing their ear tags, the two goats appear to be healthy.

Kew Little Pig owner Olivia Mikhail said: "I can't thank the member of the public who got in touch enough. This really is our Christmas miracle and after such a traumatic week we have so much hope.

"The goats are safely home and will stay under supervision from now on.

"We have been so grateful to everyone who has supported us through this awful time.

"While it won't be over until Sunday and Comet are home, we really do thank you all from the bottom of our hearts."

It was the second time goats have been stolen from the site. A group of seven taken in October 2022 were never found.
