Government seeks period product provider
Jersey's government is looking for a company to supply and distribute period products.
Firms are asked to express an interest in a three-year contract via an online tender document.
The closing date for applications is 12:00 BST on Monday 19 August, while the contract would begin on 30 September.
Sanitary products are available for free in public toilets and other spaces in Jersey, although islanders have in the past complained about a lack of products being present in dispensers.
According to the tender document: "The successful bidders will be responsible for the supply of period products and/or the warehousing, stock management and distribution of period products including liners, pads and tampons, to various designated locations across the island."
It said interested parties could offer "a complete 'end-to-end' service", or to partner with other firms capable of storage, delivery or the provision of period products.
The document said the contract could last until 29 September 2027.
