The crash happened on the A1035 in the village of Seaton in East Yorkshire

A school bus has crashed with a tractor pulling a tanker in East Yorkshire.

The double-decker bus was travelling from Hornsea School and Language College when the collision happened on the A1035 in the village of Seaton.

A spokesperson for bus operator Ellie Rose said about 40 children were aboard.

Humberside Police said "nobody is thought to have sustained life-threatening injuries at this time".

The force added that emergency services were at the scene and road closures were in place.

Yorkshire Air Ambulance attended the incident, but a spokesperson said that nobody was airlifted to hospital.
