A five-year-old Peterborough United fan has been praised for his dedication in attending every league game of the season, home and away.

Frankie is due to walk out with the players ahead of Posh's final home game on Saturday - his sixth outing as mascot and his 44th as a spectator.

A county lines police drug operation resulted in 51 arrests and 35 individuals charged with more than 100 offences, a police force said.

Operation Hypernova, which took place last month, saw officers carry out more than 30 dawn raids across Cambridgeshire, including Cambridge, Peterborough, Ely and St Ives.

Job losses are looming at an NHS trust as it looks to save £73.5m, documents have revealed.

North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust (NWAFT) is also reducing the amount it spends on non-urgent care.

Its latest annual plan has set out a 6.4% cost reduction in what is termed "elective activity".

A farmer has described sheep worrying as a constant concern as walkers cut through his land with their dogs off the lead.

Ryan Baxter said several heavily pregnant ewes among his 320-strong flock at Castor, near Peterborough, had miscarried after being chased.

Figures from the National Sheep Association revealed 87% of farmers surveyed by the charity had experienced a dog attack on livestock in the past year.

New garden unveiled for hospital staff

Staff from a hospital were left feeling "very lucky" after a reflective garden was unveiled.

The Staff Reflection Garden is an outdoor space situated in the heart of Peterborough City Hospital and has been funded by North West Anglia Hospitals' Charity.

The hospital was given £40,000 for the transformation of the area.

The week in Peterborough sport

Peterborough United extended their winless streak to six matches following a 4-2 defeat at Mansfield.

Posh were 3-0 down at half time but scored twice in the second half with goals from Ryan De Havilland and Gustav Lindgren.

Darren Ferguson's side will finish 17th if they win their final game of the season against Rotherham.

Peterborough Sports drew 1-1 with Scarborough Athletic in the final league game of their season.

Sports finished 12th in the National League North.
