Dates announced for Castle Cornet music series

The series of events will take place on four evenings in July and August

An annual music event is set to return to Guernsey for four nights in the summer.

KPMG Castle Nights would be held at Castle Cornet in July and August, Guernsey Arts said.

The free event could include more than 150 musicians and organisers encouraged islanders to bring picnics along.

It is due to take place on place on 11, 18 and 25 July, and 1 August, between 18:00 and 21:00 BST.

'Unique evenings'

Dermot Dempsey, from KPMG, said: "We're approaching our 15th year of supporting KPMG Castle Nights and they continue to be a wonderful showcase of the talent and energy in our creative community.

"They're unique evenings, listening to local musicians around the grounds of this iconic and historic venue, free for everyone and fun for the whole family.

"They are not to be missed."

Russ Fossey, head of arts development at Guernsey Arts, said the event celebrated the island's "wonderful and eclectic talent".
