A12 slip road closes after lorry overturns

A lorry has overturned on the A12 blocking a junction and closing a slip-road to northbound traffic.

Essex Police said they were at the scene of the crash at the Boreham interchange, in Chelmsford, at just after 01:20 GMT.

They said they expected the junction to remain inaccessible to northbound traffic throughout the morning rush to allow for recovery work.

The junction can still be accessed by drivers travelling southbound.
