Motorcyclist killed in crash with van

A motorcyclist has died following a crash on a dual carriageway.

Northamptonshire Police said a man in his 50s was killed after a blue Yamaha motorcycle collided with a white Vauxhall van between the Chowns Mill roundabout and the Rushden Lakes roundabout, near Rushden.

The victim died shortly after the incident at about 15:30 GMT on 29 November.

A 30-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving, and has been released on police bail pending further inquiries.

Officers are urging anyone who may have witnessed the crash, or who has relevant information, to come forward.
