Man charged after street assault in Ramsgate

A 34-year-old man from Ramsgate has been charged

A man has been charged with unlawful wounding after a man was injured in a street attack in Ramsgate.

Kent Police said it was called at 22:40 GMT on Friday to a report of an injured person in Harbour Street.

At the scene, a man in his 60s was treated for a head injury before being taken to a London hospital, where he remains in a stable condition.

A 34-year-old man from Ramsgate has been charged and is due to appear before Margate Magistrates' Court on 31 March.

Police has asked anyone with information who has not yet came forward to contact them.
