Suffolk Police said drivers were being asked to find alternative routes, with traffic being diverted

An A-road has been closed in both directions after two vehicles crashed, and diversions were put in place.

Emergency services were called to the A137 at Tattingstone, south of Ipswich, at the junction with White Horse Hill at about 15:50 GMT.

Suffolk Police said drivers were being asked to find alternative routes, with traffic being diverted though Tattingstone village and Bentley.

A spokesperson thanked the public for their patience, which is allowing officers "to deal appropriately" with the incident.
