Man, 19, dies after industrial estate accident

A 19-year-old man has died following an accident at an industrial estate, police have said.

Emergency services were called to Langton Dock, off Regent Road, in Bootle on Wednesday at about 13:10 GMT.

Merseyside Police said an injured man died at the scene. A force spokesperson said the teenager's family had been informed and were being supported by family liaison officers.

Police said a joint investigation into the incident would be carried out by detectives and the Health and Safety Executive.
