Man dies after being pulled from water in park

A man has died after being found in the water in a Birmingham park, police have said.
The man was found in Cannon Hill Park in Edgbaston, with police called shortly before 10:00 GMT on Friday.
He was taken to hospital but nothing could be done to save him.
A spokesperson for West Midlands Police said his death was being treated as unexplained and inquiries were ongoing to establish the exact circumstances around what happened.
