Third arrest over death of man found outside home

A third man has been arrested over the death of a man who was found seriously injured outside his home in North Ayrshire.

John Taylor, 44, was pronounced dead at the scene after emergency services were called to Pollock Crescent in Kilwinning on 18 October.

Police Scotland said a 19-year-old man had been arrested and charged.

It follows the arrest of a 53-year-old man, who was released pending further inquiries. A 26-year-old man was also earlier arrested and charged over the death.

Detectives have asked anyone with information to contact them, and have set up a website where information can be submitted anonymously.
