A man has denied the murder of a woman who was found stabbed at a house.

Cheryl McKenna, 44, was found at a property in Other Road, Redditch, in November.

At Worcester Crown Court on Friday, Chris Hemming, 47, denied murder but pleaded guilty to manslaughter, and will face trial on 14 July.

In a statement released following Ms McKenna's death, her family said: "Cheryl was a huge and integral part of our family and will be missed terribly as a mother, daughter, sister and aunt."
