A 19-year-old man has sustained life-threatening injuries in a crash in Surrey.

Emergency services were called to reports of a single-vehicle crash on the A287 Folly Hill in Farnham at about 03:45 GMT on Monday.

The man was taken to hospital by the South East Coast Ambulance Service and the road remained closed until 12:20 while officers completed their inquiries.

Police said anyone who witnessed the crash or the events leading up to it, particularly the manner of driving of a black Vauxhall Corsa, is urged to contact the force.
