Festival held in Caroline Flack's memory to move
Getty ImagesA festival held in honour of the late TV presenter Caroline Flack will move from a Berkshire estate to London next year, it has been announced.
Flackstock was held over three consecutive summers at Englefield House from 2022 to raise money for mental health charities.
The next edition will take place at the Crystal Palace Bowl in south London on 8 August and will form part of the South Facing series of events.
Love Island presenter Flack took her own life in 2020 at the age of 40.
Her mother Christine Flack said she decided to set up the event because her daughter was “never more herself or happier than at a music festival with her sister and her friends”.
Organisers hope the move will make it easier for people to attend as it will take place during the summer holidays.
Getty ImagesThe last edition at Englefield House was held on a Monday during term time in July.
Stars including All Saints’ Shaznay Lewis and Olly Murs performed at the event, while Denise Van Outen played a DJ set.
The festival raises money for the Charlie Waller Trust, Mind, Choose Life and Samaritans.
Previous performers included Sophie Ellis-Bextor, JP Cooper and former Bros singer Matt Goss.
