In pictures: Glastonbury Festival day three so far

After two days of build-up, the main stages are opening at Glastonbury as festival-goers prepare for the first full day of music.
Alanis Morissette, Biffy Clyro and the 1975 are just some of the artists set to perform on the Friday of this year's Glastonbury Festival.
Crowds have already been treated to a surprise appearance from singer-songwriter Lorde, who performed on the Woodsies stage.
But many on site started their day seeking out some shade, with the high temperatures already seen on site this morning due to climb up to about 25C later.

Fashionable hats: People are taking shelter from the sun, some in creative and colourful ways.

Braving the heat: People are queueing for water and seeking shelter in the shade after waking up to high temperatures.

Mystery set: A crowd gathered at Woodsies, ahead of a secret gig at 11:30 BST which turned out to be Lorde.

Pyramid performance: Supergrass lead singer Gaz Coombes performing at the Pyramid Stage earlier.

First performances: The main line-up has kicked off and people gathered in front of the stages in creative outfits to watch their favourite acts perform.

The clean-up never ends: Litter-pickers worked to clear rubbish left by festival-goers.

Nap with a view: On day three of the festival, some are getting some much-needed rest on top of the hill overlooking the site.
