Absconded prisoner tracked down - police

Police said a prisoner who had been on the run for more than a month had been arrested.

Bernard McDonagh, 59, absconded from HMP Spring Hill at about 16:00 BST on 30 August.

Thames Valley Police said it was "no longer appealing for the public's help" following the arrest by another force.

Spring Hill is a men's open prison in Grendon Underwood, Buckinghamshire.
