The mystery of Daisy, and whether she said yes, has now been revealed

A woman enjoying a family party on Friday was shocked to see a marriage proposal in the sky.

Daisy Ward, of Keadby in North Lincolnshire, was celebrating the completion of work on the house she shares with her now-fiancé Cory Robins when he asked her to come outside for "a surprise".

Miss Ward said her boyfriend pointed towards the sky, before she saw his message.

"All of a sudden this plane came across with this big banner on saying ‘Daisy will you marry me?’ and when I turned round he was on one knee and I just burst out crying,” she said.

Fortunately for Mr Robins, his partner managed to say yes through her tears of joy.

Miss Ward described him as an "all or nothing kind of guy" and said the "grand" proposal had "Cory written all over it".

The couple then celebrated their engagement with their families and young daughter.

The plane and its romantic message was seen by many people in the local area, with many taking to social media to congratulate the couple.

"People witnessed it, and it's absolutely crazy, it's gone bigger than we ever imagined it would," said Miss Ward.

"But it was so lovely, such a magical moment."
