Two people escape injury in Antrim arson attack

Two people have escaped injury during an arson attack on a property in Antrim, police have said.

It is believed that flammable liquid was poured on the front door of a flat in Mallusk Gardens and set alight at about 04:00 GMT on Saturday morning.

The Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service attended the incident and removed the two people who were inside the property.

Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.
