Man admits hoax airport and railway bomb threats

A man has admitted making hoax bomb threats to police forces across the country.
Paul Fisher, of St Peters Path in Oadby, Leicestershire, claimed to have placed bombs at various locations, including at railway stations and airports.
Fisher, 61, made the hoax calls to several police forces including Leicestershire, Lincolnshire, West Midlands, Humberside and the Metropolitan Police on Monday.
He pleaded guilty to nine counts of bomb hoax - communicating false information and one count of causing wasteful employment of police at Leicester Magistrates' Court on Wednesday.
The wasteful employment of police charge related to a call regarding a bank in Lincolnshire, Leicestershire Police said.
He was remanded in custody and is due to be sentenced at Leicester Crown Court on 4 June.
