A major road is closed following a serious collision.

Wiltshire Police said the A361 Frome Road in Southwick, near Trowbridge, is closed in both directions.

In a statement, the force said it is likely to remain closed for several hours.

Motorists are urged to avoid the area and follow diversions while the closure is in place.
