A man suffered serious head injuries after being assaulted at a nightclub in Leeds.

The victim, aged in his 20s, was found unconscious in Popworld on Cookridge Street in the early hours of 15 December, according to West Yorkshire Police.

He was believed to have been assaulted in the men's toilets at the venue, said a spokesperson for the force.

Officers asked anyone with information about the incident to get in touch.
