A factory in Worcester has been destroyed in a suspected arson attack, a fire service has said.

Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service was called at 12:55 BST on Saturday after reports of an incident at the Meco Factory at Bromyard Road.

Five crews were sent to the scene but a service spokesperson said the building had been "100% destroyed by fire".

They added: "Multiple seats of fire were found which were believed to have been deliberately started."

It has also been confirmed the incident resulted in no casualties.
