Boy in court charged with teenager's stab murder
A teenage boy has appeared in court after being charged with the murder of a 16-year-old who was killed in west London.
Police were called to Bourne Avenue, Hayes, on the afternoon of 24 May, following reports of a stabbing.
Emergency services tried to save Kamari Johnson, but he died at the scene.
The 17-year-old boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was arrested and has since been charged with murder and possession of a bladed article in a public place.
The Metropolitan Police said the boy appeared in custody at Uxbridge Magistrates’ Court on Monday and has been remanded to to next appear at the Old Bailey on Wednesday.
